The Open Access Publisher at the mdw

The own academic publisher makes the research diversity at the mdw more visible and accessible via Open Access. mdwPress is open to all academic publication formats and supports both digital and printed editions. An Academic Board of distinguished internal and external researchers assures academic freedom and high quality. mdwPress cooperates with transcript for the production and distribution of books. In order to provide the journal management software Open Journal Systems (OJS), mdwPress cooperates with the Sächsische Landes- und Universitätsbibliothek (SLUB Dresden). As publicly funded non-commercial infrastructure, mdwPress is meant to contribute to global technical, economic and ethical transformation processes of scholarly communication.

mdwPress publishes the journesl Music & Minorities, b:em and IJMM.
